Drafting the website

Miranda mocked up a website for us, and I love the colour scheme of it already!!! The font will be worked on, because I feel it is too basic for her aurora, but she has done a good job.

The social media platforms are constantly shown at the bottom of the screen, which is very important, especially for an upcoming artist that will be relying on their social media for promotional purposes.

I love the idea of the jelly fish being in the background of the website. It goes with her vibe really well, but we would not be able to take our own pictures of jelly fish because we don't have the opportunity to shoot them.

Great work on the video cut this week d listen to audience feedback on this. A good Cd design which will need to be thought out as a final product. great teamwork this week to progress to a rough cut with the video and mock-ups of the Cd digipak and website design. Do revisit your blog post entries and try to add a little more reflection - especially the one on your textiles work and how this influenced the aesthetic of your artwork.
On the webpages you do need to account for the design with more comment – on how the website is used as a platform to promote the release of the album. The campaign looks consistent in terms of design (especially the colours) and the promotion of the star image – are the Jellyfish copyrighted or non copyright material – if you can use your own image or justify why you want use the image. The CD again appears consistent and looks like a prototype to be developed/ the rough cut of the video looks great and the ending had me fooled! You got the reaction you were looking for. Do blog the editing as a process this is important and I have provided scaffold plan of questions for you to answer. Do post the rough cut of the video.
